Białystok, Poland, Est. 14th Century
The story of Zubrowka started 600 years ago, in the 14th century, when Casimir the Great sat on the throne of Poland. During this time, Polish alchemists learnt that by infusing their spirit with the essence of bison grass, they could create a unique herbal vodka. The grass is hand-picked from the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Białowieża Forest, where protected wild Polish Bison roam and helps give it’s name to this very special vodka.
